Description

New York State Clinicians will be able to discuss the specific needs of transgender and gender diverse patients specifically for HIV care. They will also gain an understanding of how to make their practice more transgender friendly and contraindications for hormone therapy.

Alexander Boulos,MD, MPH

Alexander Boulos earned his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from the University of Florida, Doctor of Medicine degree from Howard University College of Medicine, and Master of Public Health degree with a focus in global health from the George Washington University. He recently completed his PGY-1 year at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, in Preliminary Internal Medicine and is currently finishing his PGY-2 year in General Preventive Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is currently serving his PGY-3 year as one of the country's very first LGBTQ+ Health Fellows at Mount Sinai's Institute for Advanced Medicine.
