Laura Levine is the Care Coordinator and Health Educator at VOCAL NY. She has been working in harm reduction for seven years and previously worked as a medical assistant for sixteen years. She has extensive experience with teaching safe injection, risk reduction, overdose prevention, and Narcan administration. She is passionate about direct services work and, since 2015, has worked to refer people to detox, medication assisted treatment and primary care. She has also worked to keep people enrolled in New York City benefits and is committed to learning best practices for being as safe as possible.
