Description

This course will review background data on medication errors in patients living with HIV and common types and causes of medication errors that occur in the HIV population. It will also describe strategies for preventing medication errors in the patient living with HIV.

Alexandra Danforth, PharmD is currently the Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Trillium Health in Rochester, NY. After graduating with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College, Dr. Danforth completed her residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Danforth is an expert in many areas including HIV prevention and treatment and has recently accepted the role of Western Champion for the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute Clinical Education Initiative.
