Description

This presentation will discuss laboratory methods to diagnose the sexually transmitted infection discussed during the cases, and will identify current treatment recommendations for the sexually transmitted infection discussed during the cases.

Marguerite A. Urban, MD is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and the Medical Director of the Monroe County Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic. She directs the NYS AIDS Institute Clinical Education Initiative – Sexual Health Center of Excellence. Her research interests relate to sexual behavior, sexual risk reduction, HIV and STD prevention and sexual health.
