Eric Heintz, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY. He specializes in general infectious diseases and cares for patients in the hospital and the outpatient clinic, where he also provides primary care for persons living with HIV. Dr. Heintz runs the outpatient eConsult program for the ID Division, is the hospital epidemiologist at Highland Hospital, and participates in the education and training of students, residents, and fellows
