Description

This presentation will describe the epidemiology of M. genitalium and associated clinical syndromes. It will determine whether and when testing for M. genitalium is recommended, and will describe recommended treatment options and challenges associated with treatment.

Elizabeth Asiago-Reddy,MD, MS

Dr. Elizabeth Asiago-Reddy is the chief of infectious disease at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She completed her medical degree at University of Rochester, residency in Medicine-Pediatrics at Mount Sinai, and Infectious Disease fellowship at Duke University. She is the medical director of Upstate Inclusive Health Services, which provides primary care to people living with or at risk for HIV, and people who identify as LGBTQ. She has worked closely with the Sexual Wellness Center at the Onondaga County Health Department and serves on the HIV Medical Guidelines Committee.
