Learning Objectives / Desired Outcomes
At the completion of this educational activity, participants will:
  1. Be familiar with the current epidemiology of STIs in NYC, including the local Hepatitis A outbreak.
  2. Know the emerging issues around Mycoplasma genitalium.
  3. Understand the issues around gonorrhea including alternative treatment and surveillance of antibiotic resistance.
  4. Understand rectal chlamydia/LGV treatment factors. Be familiar with NYC LGV surveillance data.
Presenter Bio
Anna Huang, MD
Dr. Anna Huang is a Clinician Educator and Physician-in-Charge with the New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene's Bureau of Sexually Transmitted Infections. She cares for patients in the sexual health clinics and also engages in grand rounds, research, and protocol development. She received her medical degree from Cornell and trained in family medicine at UCSF.
Continuing Education Credit

This CME activity was approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit on June 18, 2019 and will terminate June 17, 2022.

The target audience is all physicians, NPs and PAs involved or interested in HIV education.

This online video and post-activity evaluation are one hour in length.
