Presenter Bio
Jennifer Price, MD
Jennifer Price, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at UCSF and Director of the UCSF Viral Hepatitis Center. Dr. Price received her MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her PhD from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research focuses on examining the contributions of novel and traditional factors associated with liver disease and fibrosis progression in large observational HIV cohorts, with or without viral hepatitis. She is the Director of the UCSF HCV Project Extension for Community Healthcare Outcome (ECHO) Program and the DeLIVER Care Van, a mobile medical unit aimed at improving the HCV care cascade in Northern California.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Members of the HIV care team who are frontline providers of care to persons at risk for or are living with HIV infection, including physicians (both specialists and primary care/family medicine), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, case managers and other care team members are also encouraged to participate.
