Pregnancy, Parenting and Substance Use Disorder (Online)
Description:
This learning pathway was developed in collaboration with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II and the National Harm Reduction Coalition to provide an overview of current clinical recommendations for persons of childbearing age with substance use disorder. It will provide attendees with an understanding of the epidemiology of substance use disorder among women, review the ways in which stigma can affect health outcomes during and after pregnancy, and describe clinical management and harm reduction approaches to care for and treat this population. Each one-hour training included in this learning pathway offers free continuing medical education credit, and attendees will receive a Pathway Certificate of Completion after completing the series.

Stimulants (Online)
Description:
This three-part learning pathway will provide attendees with knowledge about stimulants. It will cover intoxication symptoms and clinical presentation of various stimulants, the connection between crystal methamphetamine use among gay men and the risk of HIV transmission, treatment considerations and approaches for people who use stimulants, and more. Each one-hour training included in this learning pathway offers free continuing education credit, and attendees will receive a Pathway Certificate of Completion after completing the series.

Harm Reduction (Online)
Description:
This five-part Harm Reduction Learning Pathway will provide attendees with the knowledge and tools needed to implement harm reduction in daily clinical practice.
It will cover the guiding principles of harm redution in the context of working with people who use drugs; describe innovative models of primary care for people who use drugs; review harm reduction in the context of pregnancy and parenting; discuss safer injection drug use; and identify strategies to address racism in health care and expand harm reduction approaches throughout New York State.

Buprenorphine Prescribing (Online)
Description:
This three-part learning pathway will provide attendees with knowledge on how to prescribe buprenorphine in New York State. It will cover the goals and principles of buprenorphine treatment for opioid use disorder as well as training requirements in order to prescribe buprenorphine. This pathway will discuss the pharmacology of buprenorphine as compared with other medications for opioid use disorder and review best practice for initiation, dose stabilization, maintenance and discontinuation. It will provide case studies to illustrate how buprenorphine treatment can be delivered in various clinical settings. Attendees will receive a Pathway Certification of Completion after completing the series.
