Explore HCV and Drug User Health Center of Excellence Learning Pathways (LP)
Pregnancy, Parenting and Substance Use Disorder
Description:
This learning pathway was developed in collaboration with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II and the National Harm Reduction Coalition to provide an overview of current clinical recommendations for persons of childbearing age with substance use disorder. It will provide attendees with an understanding of the epidemiology of substance use disorder among women, review the ways in which stigma can affect health outcomes during and after pregnancy, and describe clinical management and harm reduction approaches to care for and treat this population. Each one-hour training included in this learning pathway offers free continuing medical education credit, and attendees will receive a Pathway Certificate of Completion after completing the series.
Courses Included:
- Opioid Use Disorder in Women: Focus on Pregnant Persons and Persons of Childbearing Age
- HCV Among Women of Childbearing Age
